FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes, this 4-day tour is designed to combine both iconic destinations. You’ll explore the historical city of Cusco, visit Machu Picchu, and hike the colorful Rainbow Mountain all in one trip. It’s a well-planned itinerary that ensures you have enough time to enjoy each site without feeling rushed.

The Rainbow Mountain hike is moderately challenging due to the high altitude, reaching about 5,200 meters (17,060 feet). The hike itself takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours each way, depending on your pace. While the trail isn't overly steep, the altitude can make it more demanding, so it’s recommended to acclimatize in Cusco beforehand.

A half-day visit to Machu Picchu is usually sufficient to explore the key sites, including the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, and Temple of the Three Windows. The guided tour typically lasts 2 to 3 hours, giving you time to explore, take photos, and learn about the history and significance of the Inca citadel.

Absolutely. The Sacred Valley offers a deep insight into the Inca civilization and includes stunning archaeological sites like Ollantaytambo and Moray, as well as the ancient Salineras de Maras. Visiting the valley before Machu Picchu helps you understand the broader historical context of the Inca Empire, making your visit to Machu Picchu even more meaningful.
