We’ll drive just 10 minutes outside Cusco to the majestic Saqsayhuamán, a fortress of colossal monoliths, some over 200 tons.

More than a military stronghold, Saqsayhuamán held deep astronomical significance for the Incas.

Qenqo – The Sacred Altars

From Saqsayhuamán, we head to Qenqo, a labyrinthine site with rock-carved ceremonial altars.

Puca Pucara – The Inca Checkpoint
