Definitions:

• Sexual exploitation involves deliberate exploitation for sexual purposes, usually linked to an imbalance of power.
• Sexual harassment, although it may be part of exploitation, does not necessarily include the exchange of benefits or severe coercion, but is still equally serious and unacceptable.

Policies.

Zero tolerance for any act of sexual exploitation, regardless of hierarchy or context.

Abuse of power to obtain sexual favors is prohibited, as is taking advantage of the victim’s situation of need, dependence, or weakness.

The use of threats, manipulation, intimidation, or violence to force a person to participate in sexual acts is completely prohibited. Psychological pressure to achieve unwanted sexual behavior is not permitted.

Any sexually explicit comments, jokes of a sexual nature, or behavior that invades personal space is prohibited, as is physical contact or non-consensual sexual advances.

Any act by which employees feel pressured or uncomfortable due to inappropriate sexual behavior must be reported to general management.

The use of images, videos, or personal information with sexual content without consent, including non-consensual pornography, is prohibited.

Employees may report cases of sexual exploitation without fear of retaliation, directly to General Management.

The company will provide ongoing training on the recognition, prevention, and consequences of sexual exploitation in the workplace.
